It's time for another dive into our work here at Lost Locals Media. This time, we're unpacking Tech Brand Design Overview for Binary Banter Solutions, a new tech specialist business in Rainier, Oregon, owned and operated by Rudy Cortez.
Rudy's Brief
Rudy had a clear vision for his business - he aimed to blend professionalism with a local, approachable vibe. His unique request was for a robot mascot riding a surfboard. A robot not just on any surfboard, but one riding a wave of binary code, symbolizing the connection between technology and an ocean wave.
Designing from the Ground Up
Here's how we brought Rudy's vision to life:
Logo Suite:
Main Logo: Featuring our surfing robot.. Here, we introduced a novel touch by having the robot "surfing" a sine wave composed of 1's and 0's, visually representing the core of technology - coding.
Header Logo: A streamlined version for Horizontal spaces, keeping the brand visible across platforms.
Text Logo: For formal correspondence, emphasizing the company name without the accessory of the mascot.
Monogram: A clean, professional mark for for small or round profiles.
Social Media Graphics: We developed a suite of digital assets, ensuring Rudy could engage with his audience in a way that was both fun and professional. The sine wave motif was subtly incorporated into various designs to maintain brand consistency.
Brand Guidelines: A thorough guide for Rudy to keep his branding consistent, covering everything from colors to typography, with specific notes on how to use the sine wave element effectively.
Website Confidence: We laid out the guidelines for his brand and provided the graphic assets and Rudy was able to design build his own website, ensuring it was both functional and reflective of the brand's personality, with the code-inspired wave as a dynamic background or decorative element.
Social Media Banner: A custom banner for social profiles, making Multi Tech Solutions stand out online with our surfing robot on its sine wave of binary.
Business Cards: Modern, clean designs that carry the brand's vibe, with the sine wave subtly integrated into the card's design for a tech-savvy touch.
The Result
The result was a brand that felt both innovative and professional, but recognizable as a friendly, local respected service provider, exactly what Rudy was aiming for. Rudy now has all the tools to advertise his business on solid ground and a within a cohesive brand.
